At R-Cell, the Department of Biochemistry and Endocrinology performs various qualitative and quantitative examinations of biological fluids such as blood, urine, and other body fluids. These are useful for detecting health problems, determining prognosis and guiding the therapy of a patient. The Department has the facility to conduct specialized tests for hormones, tumor markers, vitamins, clinical toxicology and basic metabolic screening that have the latest equipment. We use a broad range of analytical techniques like molecular diagnostics, measurement of enzyme activities, spectrophotometry, electrophoresis, the separation of molecules based on physical characteristics and immunoassays. We use extensive quality control mechanisms in performing assays, validating methods and implementing changes that are very important in producing valid and reliable results.
